MINER KILLED
STRUCK BY FALLING COAL' [by tf.lf.gr a pit—press association] IXYERCARGILL. Tuesday A miner, Mr. Charles .Hazeldine. employed in the Mount Linton mine at Ohai, was killed by a fall of coal about mid-day to-day. He and a mate were working on pillar and head coal when, without any warning, about half a ton of coal fell from the "lift." Mr. Hazeldine suffered a fractured skull. His mate was not touched, although standing just beside him. Mr. Hazeldine is suivived by an adult family.
