THEFT OF SUIT-LENGTHS
SALESMAN IMPRISONED l>< scribed by counsel as a "drunken frolic," the theft of two suit-lengths valued at £'7 10s from a Karangahape Road shop was admitted by Charles Archer • Bryant, labourer and salesman, aged 54 (Mr. Dyson), in the Police Court before Mr. K. K Hunt. S.M., yesterday Sub-Inspector Fender said accused had a number of previous convictions j Mr. Dyson said be bad been offered j farm work in Taranaki. | "He has tried many other towns,'* | said the magistrate, after perusing ! accused's record, "and now Auckland gives him three months' imprisonment."
