BOWLING CENTRE
MEETING OF DELEGATES A meeting of delegates to the Auckland Bowling Centre was hold in the Carlton Club's pavilion lasl evening for the purpose of voting for seven Xorth Island members of the New Zealand Council. There are nine candidates, as follows: —Messrs. M. J. Casey, \V. Gilbert (Wellington), 11. Mayo (Hawke's Bay), J. Lobb (Taranaki), S. Lewis (South Auckland), A. Crawford (Wanganui), .1. Xash fManawatu), L. J. Sutherland. A. i'j. Whitten (Auckland). The result of the voting will be forwarded to Cliristchiirch, the present headquarters of the Dominion Bowling Association. It was decided to send a cable to Mr. Ivor 1). Jones, Xew Zealand resident delegate on the International Bowling Board, In,inking him for his past services and requesting him to suggest a second delegate.
