WAR SERVICE AUXILIARY
GARDENING AND TRANSPORT The various activities of the Women's War Service Auxiliary are continuing steadily and the gardening section is now starting on a course of demonstrations both in the field and tho laboratory. This work is being organised to encourage women to make the best use of their gardens for winter vegetables and is being carried out with the operation ot horticultural experts. The first demonstration in the preparation >f the soil and the making of compost heaps is to be held at the Training College on Saturday, May 24. The following members ot the transport section have passed a test in motor mechanics after a course held under the instruction of Mr. Robert son, Automobile Association engineer.
