Majestic Theatre. Mctro-Goldwyn-M a vers latest picture in the Nick Carter detective series, "Sky Murder," will he screened at the Majestic Theatre to-day. Walter Pidgeon is the principal. "Black Diamonds," a drama of coal mines, is the accompanying film. Oivic Theatre. —Last seen in the production "Our Town," Martha Scott gives an accomplished performance as the revered schoolmistress Ella Bishop, whose career is traced in the film "Cheers For Miss.Bishop," beiniz; shown at the Civic Theatre. Supporting roles are filled by William Gargan and Edjnund Gwenn. Regent Theatre.—A large cast, brilliant technicolour photography of rugged mountain scenery, and a powerful adventure story, are features of Cecil B. de Mille's ''North-West Mounted Police," now showing at the Regent Theatre. St. James' Theatre. —An impressive' version of Margaret Mitchell's 1037page novel, the film ''Gone with the Wind" is now in its third week at St. .Tames' Theatre. Plaza Theatre. —The totalitarian rulers of Europe are the butt of Charlie Chaplin's inimitable gift for mimicry in his first talking picture, "The Great Dictator," which continues to attract large audiences to the Plaza Theatre. The assisting cast includes Jack Oakie, Billy Gilbert and Reginald Gardiner. Embassy Theatre.—Dealing with a young law student who becomes a divorce lawyer, displeases his wife by his career and nearly ends his own marriage, Paramount,'s comedy drama "I Want a Divorce" will conclude a successful season at the Embassy Theatre to-morrow. Prominent in the cast are Joan Blondell, Dick Powell, Gloria Dickson and Frank Fay. The film version of Joseph Conrad's "Victory,." tracing the lives of four ni|>n and one woman on an island in the Java Seas, is the next attraction at the theatre. Roxy Theatre,--Depicting the hazardous journey of covered caravans carrying provisions to frontier outposts during the early days of America, the R.K.0.-Radio film "Waggon Train " will head to-day's new programme at the Roxy Theatre. The principal player, Tim Holt, appears with his magnificent horse, Duke. Spirited cowboy melodies are provided by Bay Whitley and his Musical Buckaroos. Also to be shown is the Western film "Riders of the Dawn," with Jack Randall in the main role. Century Theatre.—Charles Lniighton and Carole Lombard are the principals jn R.K.0.-Radio's adaptation of an outstanding stage play "They Knew What I hey Wanted," which is the current attraction at the Century Theatre. A feature of the supporting programme is a ncwsreel showing the An/.acs preparing for battle against the Germans in the Middle East. Strand Theatre.—Warner Brothers' adventure drama. "The Road to 'Frisco," with George Raft, Ann Sheridan, Humphrey Bogart and Ida Lupino in major roles, will he screened again to-day at the Strand Theatre. Oxford and Avon Theatres,- Ginger Rogers was judged the best actress of 1910 tor her performance in "Kitty Foylc," now being screened at the Oxlord and Avon llieatres. The associate attraction is "Dr. Christian Meets the Women." State Theatre. Metro - GoldwynMayer's production "Wyoming," with Wallace Beery, Leo Carrillo and Ann Rutherford in important roles, will be shown to-day at the State Theatre. Vogue Theatre. —Shirley Temple appear.-, in the film "Susannah of the Motilities'' to be shown this afternoon at the Vogue Theatre. "Marie Antoinette," with Norma Shearer in the title role, will head the evening programme. Tivoli Theatre. Photographed in technicolour, the adventure film "Heart of the North" will be shown on tonight's guest programme at the Tivoli Theatre. "Missing Witnesses" also will be screened.
