INTERCESSION SERVICES
Sir.— .Mr. T. N. Peakc in his letter in Friday's Hi.h.m.h writes re, Anglicans: '' Tbe support and wellare of their own Church should lie their first- consideration." In this crisis, when the spiritual power oi the Empire is all-important, the first consideration of all denominations should surely be the drawing together of the people of our land to a full realisation of their complete dependence 011 God. In the small country place in which I live there is a Lnion Church. Non-conformists and Anglicans, on respective Sundays hold services in it and all these services are attended by members of each of these denominations, not for the support and welfare of* their own Church, but to worship God in simple faith. Surely, the weekly intercession services should be truly representative of all those who love our Lord. Cointiiv Anc.mcan.
