KING COUNTRY POLL
A poll of ratepayers will he held throughout the King Country Elo<;triePower Board's district to-morrow on a proposal to raise a loan of C 120.000 for the electrical reticulation of the district. A series of meetings during the past week, at which it was explained that the poll followed long negotiations and investigations during the past three years, was addressed by Mr. H. I? Street, chairman, and Mr. L. Mandeno, consulting engineer. It is not intended to proceed with any extensive scheme of work at present.
