NATIONAL. BASIS FAVOURED (0.C.) WHAXfJARFJ, Thursday The need for hospital finance being placed on a national basis instead of at present being largely a charge on the ratepayers, was discussed at a meeting of the Bay of Islands Hospital Hoard" A resolution was carried that the hospital board dissociate itself from the remarks made by the chairman of the \Yaikato Hospital Board in advocating the continuance of the present system of hospital finance. The board was of tho opinion that the finance of hospitals was a national matter and should bo contributed to on a national basis.
