PATIENT'S COLLAPSE

DEATH IN DENTIST'S CHAIR (0.C.) HAMILTON, Thursday An inquest into the death of Mr. Donald Brydon Johnstone, a farmer, aged 37, of Ruawaro, who died in a dentist's chair in Hamilton on April 8, was concluded before the coroner, Mr. F. W. Platts. to-day. Evidence was given that the deceased died while under an anaesthetic having teeth extracted. In giving his verdict of death through heart failure. Mr. Platts said that this was a rare and inexplicable case where it was humanly impossible to decide the deceased's condition with regard to his being able <o stand an anaesthetic.
