BEAM£N'S INSTITUTE A special service to mark the <s®* parture of the port chaplain, thi Rev, H. K. Vickery, from the Flj'intf Angel Missions to Seamen's Institute was heitd in the Mariners' Chapel of ht, Peter at the institute last night. Mr« Vickery is leaving to become seine? chaplain on the New Zealand hospital ship Maunganui. The arrangements for the service and the function which followed were made by the Ex-Naval Men's Association of New Zealand. The lesson at the service was read by Commander C. IT. T. Palmed R.N.V.K., who is one of the association's patrons, and a solo was sung "J Mr. H. Hamilton, a Rangitane survivor. The address was given by Vickery. A gathering was held later J" the social ball adjoining. The nssocw* tion secretary, Mr. R. P. V. Hayter, read a letter from Commodore \\ • Parry, Chief of the Naval Staff.
