MINOR ACCIDENTS
FOUR PERSONS INJURED Four people were admitted to the Auckland Hospital at the week-end with minor injuries received in accidents. A member of the Hoval Air Force, James Frederic Newell, single, aged 23, of -19 Kclmarna Avenue, Heme Bay, suffered concussion when he fell down a 60ft. cliff at Onetangi on Saturday. He was brought from Waiheke by steamer. A fracture of the jaw was suffered by Miss Barbara Anne Barker, aged 20, of Castor liny, when she was kicked by a horse at Takapuna on Saturday. Miss Barker fell from her own mount and was kicked by another as she fell. Mrs. Ada Fanny Moir, aged 67, of Rothesay Bay, fractured her leg in a fall at home yesterday. A similar mishap bel'el a soldier, Athol Verne Shannon, single, aged 21, when he was taking part in manoeuvres at Warknorth yesterday. He was brought to hospital in an Army ambulance.
