UNIVERSITY TITLES ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HONOURS WELL DISTRIBUTED The most successful swimmers competing in the annual .championships of the Auckland University College, decided in the poo! of the Teachers' Training College on Saturday afternoon, were Schishka, M. Shanahan and Miss P. Hastings, who each won two events. The 100 yards and '>2o yards men's championships were won by Schischka in fiii 2-r.s and 3m O 3-ss. respectively. A fine performance was put up in the 220 yards hreaststroke by Shanahan, his time being 3m (i 2-ss, and he also won the too yards backstroke in SO 2-o.s. Miss Hastings won the 100 yards ladies' championship in SO 2-5.8, and the 50 yards backstroke in 43 2-ss. The 50 yards men's championship was gained by D. J. Howe in 30s, and the 50 yards ladies' championship by Miss M. Brown in 31 2-ss. The winner of the 100 yards ladies' hreaststroke was Miss M. Pasalich, whoso time was 97 2-ss.
