HOME OF COMPASSION SUM OF £460 RAISED A limit iJ Kit) toward the upkeep of the home was obtained oil Saturday afternoon as the result of a warden fete held at the St. Vincent's Home o| Compassion, Heme Bay. The fiinction was particularly well attended and much interest was shown by the public in the comparatively new buildings and in I lie It) babies at present iu the home. The function was an annual one and when held last year not lony alter the new home hail been opened, the erounds were uncultivated and bare.
