THE METROPOLE
A varied programme of selected dances appealed to the large throng of patrons at the Metropole Cabaret oil Saturday night, and hearty applause was given the hand, led by Mr. i,ew Jones. A repertoire of favourite tunes was interspersed with overseas successes, including "Black Raspberry .lam'' and "Safe In My Heart." Mr. Les Williams directed the programme, which included a Monte Carlo competition.
