BURIAL MISTAKE
STEPS TO RECTIFY ERROR Steps are to bo taken by the City Council to rectify the mistake which occurred early this month, when the body of a civilian was buried in the exservicemen's plot at the Waikumete Cemetery in the belief that he was a returned soldier. It was reported to the City' Council last night that the mistake, occurred owing to the similarity of the names of two inmates of a Salvation Army institution. It was decided to apply to the Minister of Health for a warrant for the disinterment and reinterment of the body in the public section of the cemetery, ft was also decided to ask the Salvation Army to bear any cost involved in the reburial.
