SUM OF £452,000 RAISED [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Saturday The secretary of the All Purposes Appeal under the auspices of the Patriotic Fund, Mr. Abel, reports that the total funds in hand this week arc £152,000. Details are:—Auckland, £122,000; Canterbury, £81,000; Otago, £07,000; Wellington, £05,000; Hawke's Bay, £41,000; East Coast, £22.500; Southland, £16,200; Nelson, £14.000; Taranaki, £11,000; Marlborough, £6100; Westland, £5300.
