Air Flight (McDonald), who appears to be rapidly regaining form, displayed much of her two-year-old brilliance in defeating Sea Link (Ryan) over five furlongs in 1.0 Veldette (Thomson) covered the last, three furionffs of a round of pace work in 4 Is. Sne made an auspicious debut in open company at Ashhurst, and sho appears to be on the up-grade. Gltana Lass secured a break on War Lap and maintained it to the end of five furlongs, run in 1.7 3-5. Avclona sprinted half a mile in 555. Night Ray, Minvaal ami Viracious finished in that order over five furlongs in 1.7 3-5. McGuire, the owner of Filbert, purchased the black colt by Man's Pal from ! Warden's Queen, the half-sister to Queen of Song, for 55gns. The colt has been turned out in tho Waikato district.
