DR. G. GORE GILLON Advice lias been received in Auckland of the deatit of Dr. George Gore Gillon at Oakdale Poole, Dorset, England. at tlie aye ol B.'L I'*or some years prior to the Great War lie practised in Auckland as a surgeon and for three years lie was an honorary surgeon at the Auckland Hospital. Dr. Gillon was educated at the Otago Bovs' High School and graduated at Edinburgh. He also studied on the Continent. He engaged in his prolession at Wellington for over ten years belore coining to Auckland. In i 1)0(3 he was president of the Auckland division of the British Medical Association. He held the rank of major with the N.Z.M.C., and during the Great War lie was in charge of Millhank Hospital, Loudon. then serving with the R.A.M.C. Me lived in England after the war. I MR. J. R. WATT The death has occurred of Mr. .lohn Ren ton Watt, of Lucerne Road, Rcmnera, at the age of 7~>.
