FOXTON AIR CRASH
PILOT'S BODY RECOVERED [BY TF.I.KGIt APH PHESS ASSOCIATION] FOXTON, Friday The body of Leading-Aircraftman Haase was recovered from the wreckage of the Vincent biplane which crashed into the Manawatu River by an Air Force salvage gang. He was trapped in the tunnel between the two cockpits by a stray dip catching on a wire. The wreckage of the aeroplane was recovered from the river to-day.
