Fire destroyed the American golf professional Joe Kirk wood's set of trick shot golf clubs recently and delayed his annual winter exhibition. The blaze swept the Huntington Valley (Philadelphia) Country Club's frarno supply shop. Besides Kirkwood's personal set of clubs, club members lost 130 sets valued at 10,500 dollars. A remarkable fact about the CanterburyWellington cricket, match at Christchiirch was that T. 1/. Pritchnrd, the Wellington fast bowler, finished up each innings with identical bowling figures. In each case he had 22 overs, from which ST runs were scored, and he took five wickets. The one difference in the analyses was that, in the first, innings he had two maiden overs, and in the second innings three of his overs were scoreless.
