CAMP FOR CHILDREN
PROPOSAL AT WAITANGI [fiiom our own correspondent] WHANG ARE I, Friday A children's health camp will probably be established at Waitangi this year. This camp will serve Northland children, both pakeha and Maori, who have previously been accommodated in Auckland camps. Efforts were made to secure a site at Paihia, but agreement- as to tho price of the land could not be reached, so it has been decided to build on the Waitangi Estate. Permission for such a course is now being sought by the Trust Board of the King George V. .Memorial Fund. The camp will bo erected from these funds, but the maintenance of the camp will be the responsibility of the Health Camp Organisation in Northland.
