THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE FEW PRICE MOVEMENTS Activity on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday centred mainly in Bank of New Zealand shares, three parcels of which changed hands at current rates without satisfying the demand. UNION BANK DIVIDEND NO CHANGE IN RATE The Union Bank of Australia, Limited, has declared a final dividend for the year ended August, 31. of 4 per cent, making 7 per cent for the year, an unchanged rate. Ihe dividend is paid 'in the equivalent of British currency and is less British income tax. BANK OF ENGLAND RETURN NOTE CIRCULATION DECLINES LONDON, Jan. 9 After having reached a record level of .€(iJ6.900,000 prior to Christians, the, noie circulation of the Bank of Kngland has declined by X'G.500,000 in successive weeks.
