THE METROPOLE
Holiday features organised by the director, Mr. Alfred Fenn, met with the hearty approval of the dancers at the Metropole 011 Saturday night. A Christmas tree with the Monte Carlo prizes decorated the band dais, and the music by Lew Jones and his orchestra was specially selected to appeal to modern and old-time enthusiasts. Mr. Les Williams' management of the floor routine was a factor in the success of the entertainment. Individual items by the instrumentalists were heartily applauded.
