The victory ot Ned Worthy hi the Auckland Jubilee Trotting Cup was thoroughly deserved, as he was in front practically throughout and stayed on splendidly at the finish, goinc five seconds better than ins handicap. The unlucky horse of the contest was the each-way favourite Molly Direct, who finished third after beiug pocketed and unabie to get a run in the straight. The course was in splendid order, ami an the winners went faster than handicapped to do.
