NOON WEDDING
CRESPIN—SUTER BRIDE IN BEIGE GEORGETTE The wedding took place quietly at. St. Luke's Church, Poniucra, at. noon yesterday of Miss Mabel Elizabeth Sutcr, youngest daughter of .Mr. A. Suter, of Xgapuhi Road, Remuera, and the late Mrs. Suter, and SecondLieutenant Cecil Phil pott Crespin, only son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Crespin. of Melbourne. The Rev. W. Norton performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of beige georgette. Finished with stitched collar and cuffs, the bodice was diagonally tucked from shoulder to waist, whence the tucks flared gracefully into the skirt. A small brown hat worn well back on her head was finished with cream roses, and the bride wore a spray of cream roses, dark red leaves and berries on her brown handbag. The bride was attended by Mrs. P. I'. M. Green, who wore a powder blue truck with crisp white organdie collar and cuffs and rows of narrow tucks down the front of the skirt. She wore a large white straw hat and had a spray of white flowers on her blue handbag. 'lhe bridegroom was attended by SecondLieutenant Edward Daere as best man. Later in the afternoon close triends of the bride and bridegroom attended a cocktail party at the home of the bride's father. Her sister, Mrs. Alfred a Lewis, received the guests wearing a frock of mist blue cloque with a cyclamen corsage spray.
