ARMY FOOTBALL
WIN FOR NEW ZEALANDERS TINDILL'S BRILLIANT TRY (Received December 15, 11.15 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15 The New Zealand Army beat the Aldershot Command by 8 to 0. The Sunday Times says the New Zealanders had much the worse of the first half. Then an all-round improvement brought victory. The All Blacks were clearly outplayed behind the scrum in the first half and only fearless tackling by the backs prevented Aidershot from scorinfr. Bonner got over wide out for the New Zealanders just before the interval for a try which was quite against the run of play. The New Zealanders then showed real form, putting Aldershot on the defensive for long periods. Tindill. halfback, scored a magnificent try, darting from the scrum and running hard and straight, after selling a' "dummy." A clever fend carried him over when he was tackled a yard from the line. Peterson mada no mistake with the kick.
