MEDICAL BENEFITS
< A suggestion made by the Dominion Council of Friendly Societies in Wellington. arising out of recent comments made by him on medical benefits under the Social Security Act, was repudiated yesterday by the Minister of Health, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. The council held that a recent statement by the Minister was apt. to convey the impression that only the head of a friendly society member's family received medical benefits. Mr. Armstrong denied making a statement to this effect.
