Forecast: Winds light to moderate and variable, but with southerly directions predominating. Seas slight or moderate. Weather mainly fair, but some rain at first in Canterbury and Marlborough, and scattered falls -extending to Wellington and Hawke's Bay. Temperatures warm in the north, otherwise moderate to mild.
