GIVE YOUR CURTAINS SOME BRAN
r pO freshen net curtains put them in lukewarm soapy water, do not pull or stretch them, but move them about so that the dirt is loosened. Afterwards rinse in clean cool water. If they are an ecru shade, make some bran water by pouring boiling water over a muslin bag containing about a pound of bran. Add enough cold water to make the required quantity, soak the freshly-rinsed curtains.in this, and hang them over the line without pegging them, pulling the edges even to keep the straight line. They will not require any starch, as the bran water will serve as a stiffening as well as a tinting agent.
