JTYEAR AXXF SHIRLEY.—We hare X) 110 t, been able to go ior many swims this rear for the weather lias not been suitable. Just lately I was standing having a look at the river, for it was in flood, when the bank cave war. I fell in, the water went over my'head. Then I came up to the fop and managed to catch hold of a clump of grass, and scramble up on to the bank, i was frightened the bank might give away again, but luckily it didn't.
