PARTY AT FIRTH HOME
Members of the bridge circle of the Victoria League Young Contingent holt! their final meeting tor the year at the Evelyn Firth Home on Wednesday night The function was arranged by .Mrs. G. Erne Adams. TlrV league chairman. .Mrs. 1,, b. Hiekerhv, was present, and received a bouquet from the matron. Miss I!. Brayshaw, on behalf of the men while Mrs. Adams also received a presentation. Prizes for bridge were presented by the men to Miss E Thompson, Miss \Y Kent and Mis. ('. Cutten, while the prize tor the highest score throughout the year was presented to Mr. \V. Gordon. The prizes for the evening's play were won by Mr W L. I'ereival and Mr. .J. NiehoLso/. A gift and a box of flowers were presented to the matron, and cigarettes were given to the men by members of the circle. The bridge players were Messrs. \V. Chancy. \V (iordon, B. Stent, I',. •!. Finn. E. \Y. Hums. J. .Nicholson and W. J.. I'ereival.
