It is perfectly understood that the exigencies of life, as it is to-day, demand interiors that are space-saving, but what has not yet been realised by everybody is the fact that this does not necessarily mean cramped quarters and general discomfort. Ihe first point to grasp is that one or two well-proportioned rooms doing double duty will make a much more practical and attractive dwelling than a series of tiny compartments.
