TROOP TRAINING
INFANTRY BRIGADE PALMERSTON NORTH CAMP [IIT TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Friday One of the largest concentrations of troops in the Dominion tor many years will take place at Palmerston North on Saturday, when the battalions comprising tin* 2nd Infantry Brigade will concentrate there for brigade training during the coming week. The brigade consists of the Ist Battalion, Wellington West Coast Regiment, Ist Battalion, Hawke's Bay Regiment, and Ist Battalion, Taranaki Regiment, which are at present in camp at Wanganui. Dannevirke and Waverley respectively. They will move from those camps to Palmerston North on Saturday, The Wellington West Coast and Hawke's Bay Battalions will occupy the show grounds camp and the Taranaki men will camp on the rifle range at Hokowhitu, on the outskirts of Palmerbton North. The brigade training, which will consist of various tactical exercises involving offensive and defensive schemes, w ill form the climax 'of the three months of continuous training undergone by the units ol I lie brigade under the home delence .scheme. At the end of next week the men in training will commence to disperse to their homes.
