Provincial figures include the following: Otago, £60,00(1; Auckland. £36.000; Canterbury, £25,000; "Wellington. £31,900; East Coast, £17,200; Southland. £8800; Hawke's Bay. £7400; Nelson, £5200; Taranaki, £3500; Marlborough, £2400; Westland, £2200.
