WOOL APPRAISAL
AUCKLAND WORK ENDS The, second Auckland wool appraisal of the season was completed yesterday morning, when the six appraisers engaged finished dealing with the, total of over 12,000 bales. Prompt date for this fixture has been fixed at the usual 14 days after the completion, which is December 2. The appraisal of wool is being carried out most expeditiously this season, as over 19,000 hales have already been dealt with. The past appraising season did not commence in Auckland until the end of November. The next fixture will commence on December 5. THE OFFERING AT NAPIER OYER 12,000 BALES READY [llY TELEGRATO —OWN* CORRESPONDENT] NAPIER, Monday Appraisers began this morning appraising the 12,200 bales which have conic forward as the second offering of the Hawke's Bay wool season. It is expected they will complete their task on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. The wool has opened up attractively. It is well grown and carries slightly better condition than that offered at this period last year. The offering at the opening appraisal this season was 4768 bales. _ The Napier appraisal will be followed by those at Clisborne, Tolaga Bay and Tokomaru Bay.
