BIRKENHEAD WOMEN To raise funds for soldiers' comforts the patriotic committee of the Birkenhead Women's Association held a successful dance and card evening. The Mayoress of Birkenhead, Mrs. E. J. An enjoyable programme was contributed by Mrs. AY. Williams, Mrs. T. McKnight, Miss >l. Hutton, Miss D. Kirker, Messrs. C. Hunter and H. 0. Cullerne.
