ARRIVAL FROM ENGLAND
NAVAL OFFICER'S WIFE A recent arrival from England is Mrs. Hazel Addis with her two children, Valerie and Jeremy. Mrs. Addis, who lived in New Zealand from 1926 to 1929, when her husband, Commander E. E. Addis, R.N., was serving in the Philomel, is better known as Hazel Adair, author of many popular novels. Commander Addis is also an author who writes novels under the name of Peter Draw Mrs. Addis, whose home is in Oxshott, Surrey, has settled for the time being at Beach House, Milford, and is already at work on a new book. Her husband was recalled to the Navy just before the outbreak of war and is now serving in the Mediterranean.
