LAND BOARD ELECTION
An election to fill n pending vacancy on the Auckland Land Board will be held to-day. A vacancy would he caused by the expiry of the present term of Mr. A. S. Sutherland, of Xgaruawahia. on December 7, and in addition to Mr. Sutherland's nomination for re-election. Mr. C. 11. Burnett, of Tanrnnga, is also standing. Holders of land administered by the board will be eligible to vote, the board's district extending from Taumarunui to Merccr.
