NAVAL APPOINTMENT
COMMANDER D. A. BINGLEYj It is announced that LieutenantCommander D. A. Bingley, R.N. (retired), has been promoted to the acting rank of commander and appointed naval officer in charge at Auckland and superintendent of the Devonport dockyard, in addition to continuing his duties as naval control service officer. '
