STOCK SALE INTERRUPTED
The Lorneville (invercargill) stock sale was interrupted for several minutes during the running of the New Zealand Trotting Cup. Interest in the event among buyers and others was so great that when the broadcast description came through a radio in a motorcar parked in the saleyards paddock, they left the stock races in a body to listen to it.
