Nov. 10 The death has occurred of Mr. Neville Chamberlain, Lord President of the Council and former prime Minister. jlr. Chamberlain died peacefully -at his country home last night. The public was prepared for the news by a statement Mrs. Chamberlain made earlier to the effect that her husband's strength had been failing for the past; few days, and that he had become seriously ill.
