SHOT BY ROBBERS
MAN AND WIFE MURDERED SINGAPORE. Nov! 8 Charlton Maxwell, aged 68, and his wife were shot dead with Mr. Maxwell's own shotgun bv robbers, who have not yet been caught. They entered his bungalow at Lumufc, on the Pernk coast. Malaya, in the early hours of Thursday. Mr. Maxwell -was a son of the late Sir William Maxwell, a former acting-Governor.
