LEAGUE CODE SPORTS
A sports meeting- arranged by the schools' management committee or the Auckland Rugby Lea true was held at Carlaw 1 ark on Saturday afternoon. The results were:—Goalkicking: Moylo (Newton), 1;, Hing ■ (Marist), o r>OYds seven-a-sido championship: Tantau (Mnnukau), Is Mason (Manukau), 2. 50\ds junior championship: Taylor (Green Lane), 1; Ivirwan (Marist), 2. Tug-of-war: Manukau, 1; Marist and Newton, equal, 2. Junior relay: Newmarket, I; Marist, 2. The prizes were presented ,by Mr, V. Rose, chairman of the schools' committee. •The final of the Intermediate grade championship was also played. Marist defeating R.V. by 5 points to 3. This brought the two teams level and they will be bracketed as championship winners.
