TEMPORARY COMMAND SIR ANDREW RUSSELL TO ACT [BY TF.r.F.OR aph—-PRESS association] WELLINGTON, Sunday The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, has announced that during the absence of the Chief of the General Staff. Major-Genera I Sir John Duignn. from New Zealand as a delegate to the Empire economic conference at Delhi, the New Zealand Forces wjll be commanded by Major-General Sir Andrew Russell, who was recently appointed Inspector-General of the New Zealand Forces.
