Mr. G. F. Lane was a passenger for "Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. R. J. Kerridge returned on Saturday morning by train from the south. Mr. J. A. C. Allum, deputy-Mayor of Auckland, returned from Wellington by the limited express on Saturday morning. Mr. W. Goodfellow was a passenger by train from Wellington on Saturday morning. Mr. C. A. Whitney was a passenger last night by the limited express for Wellington. Mr. F. Maurice Clarke arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. .T. Murdoch, of Whangarei, travelled to Wellington by the limited express last night. Colonel G. J. Smith, of Christchurch, arrived from the south on Saturday morning, and is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. S. Home, assistant engineer of the Auckland Transport Board, left for Wellington last night by the limited express. Mr. W. H. Cocker, president of Auckland University College, and Mr. A. H. •Johnstone, K.C., vice-president, returned on Saturday morning from a visit to Wellington.
