There is also a sum in reserve for further calls of this nature, and the standing committee of the Provincial Patriotic Council has therefore decided to concentrate all efforts upon ensuring that adequate provision is made for the other equally commendable objects of its appeal. From to-morrow the council's appeal will be foctissed on the raising throughout tho Auckland Province of the £250,000 which it lias set itself to collect as part of the Dominion-wide campaign for £1,000,000 for all patriotic purposes.
