PETROL SALES BREACH
GARAGE OWNER'S OFFENCE A charge of selling 40 gallons of motor spirit to unauthorised persons between March 16 and April 3 was admitted by G. N. Norrie, garage proprietor (Mr. McLiver), before Mr. «T. Morling, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Counsel said a 40-gallon surplus was sold to soldiers trying to get back to camp and to others. Defendant was fined £7 and costs, 13s.
