£25,000 HOSPITAL PLAN
BUILDING AT TE KOPURU [from our owx correspondent] DAKCtAVILLE, Friday The Kaipara Hospital Board at a special meeting decided to proceed with the erection of a two-storeyed 60-bed two-ward building on the site of the Northern Wairoa Hospital at 19 Kopuru. The board has had the question of additions before it for some the purchase cf an 80-aera site at Dargaville, the board had plan# prepared by its architect for the erection of a modern building'there, this time the Public "Works j merit held up the proposal, as it found that the site was the only o in the district which its experts con Q recommend for an airport site. Minister of Health then advised board that the building could not P ceed on the site choseu. Notice of motion was given at y " terdav's meeting to seek authority __ raise'£2s,ooo for the building at Kopuru.
