This famous machine has recently been lent by Sunbeam Commercial Vehicles for exhibition at Loughborough College where, in spite of the car's age, it ought to be useful technically. The Sunbeam really mado history, for in the hands of Segrave it 'not only broke the record of Davtona Meach, but was the first land vehicle in tho world to exceed 200 m.p.h. It achieved 203.541 as the mean speed for tho mile. The car has been carefully preserved at tho works where it was originally built, and now, thirteen years after its record feat, it goes on view with other "museum pieces." for the benefit of the engineering college students.
