REPORTS FROM BERLIN LARGE FORCES READY SPECIALLY-TRAINED MEN LONDON, Sept. 26 The Germans continue to speak of the preparations they have made for the invasion of Britain. It was semiofficially stated in Berlin this morning that large forces of speciallytrained and equipped men have been distributed along the North Sea coast, the Channel and the Atlantic. These men, it is have been selected 011 the basis of physical powers, intelligence, and ability to speak foreign languages and understand the ways of the English. Ten thousand men are stated to have been trained to nse water-skis made of cork, enabling them to skate across water at the rate of five miles an hour. GRAF SPEE OFFICERS SUCCESS OF ESCAPE REPORT FROM ARGENTINA (Received September 26, 7.15 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 36 A German source says three of the 15 officers of the Admiral Graf Spee who escaped in a motor-launch on September 8 have reached Germany, lour are in Brazil awaiting a Spanish ship, from which they will transfer to a German flying-boat at sea. Three are on board a ship going to Japan.
